PURCHASING A MOTORCYCLE













Cost chart

Up to 125 cc is to the municipal office of your residence, 126 cc or more is to the Land Transport Bureau, to register for each and receive the license plate. Besides, mandatory vehicle liability insurance is obligatory. Because of that, in order to purchase a new motorcycle, the following fee will be charged according to the displacement of the engine in addition to the vehicle body fee.

Purchasing Procedure

1 Please select your favorite motorcycle and fill in the purchase order agreement. Your name, address, date of birth, phone number.

2 If you would like to use an auto loan, you can apply at our shop's computer by yourself. A signature or documents are not neccesary. This form is only available in the Japanese version, but please do not worry, we will help you of course.The loan approval is completed in about 30 minutes.

3 We register the license plate and prepare your motorcycle by checking the functions of oil, battery, electric equipment etc. ( In the case of an used motorcycles, the mechanics will test ride for whole check. )

4 When all preparations are completed, we will inform you by phone or e-mail. Please visit us on your convenient day.

※ Delivery is also possible, but fees may be required depending on the distance. Please contact us.

About payment

Purchase with cash
In case of purchase with cash, please pay when ordering.

Purchase by bank transfer
Please transfer to our bank account after your order. We prepare for your motorcycle registration etc. after payment is confirmed.

Purchase by loan
Loan application will be made at the time of order placement. The down payment is not necessary at the time of ordering if the loan amount exceeds 50% of the total amount. In other cases, please pay the down payment when ordering.

※ Credit cards can not be used to purchase vehicles. We kindly ask for your understanding.






Mail Order Purchasing Procedure

If it's difficult for you to visit our shop before purchase we can arrange the buying procedure from distance. If you find your favorite motorcycle in our website or any featured magazine, please contact us and will start the procedure. It goes as follows.

1 We will send you the purchase order agreement. If you would like to use an auto loan, you can apply by yourself through the online from the link in the e-mail received from a credit company. A signature or documents are not necessary. This form is only available in the Japanese version, but please do not worry, we will help you of course.

Please note! When you make an application, you will receive a call directly from the credit company. The credit company does not correspond for English. *Japanese only. Required to receive the call by the person himself /herself for complete your loan application.

2 Please fill in the documents sent from POWERS and return it. Please make sure to enclose your resident certificate in case of motorcycles over 126 cc.

3 After receiving the documents returned from you, register the license plate and prepare the motorcycle by checking the functions of oil, battery, electric equipment etc. (In the case of used motorcycles,the mechanics will test ride for whole check.)

4 Once completed, we will contact you via phone call or email.

5 POWERS will make arrangements with a trusted land transport company.

6 The transportation company will contact you when your motorcycle is in delivered to the depot that is nearest to your home. Please arrange with them the best date accepting the motorcycle.

7 When a good schedule is determined, the transportation company will deliver your motorcycle to your home.

Please note! that in some rural areas, the delivery will stop at a depot. You will have to do the pickup at a depot. We kindly ask for your understanding.

When the average age of Japanese was still young, a motorcycle was a symbol of bad teenagers. Many parents were anxious that their children become a motorcycle gang. Then the three NO campaign was arose among many highschools.

No ride a bike
But now, all those children at that time have been older fortunately. Already, they don't say "don't ride a motorcycle!!" to their children, but no wonder, because teenagers are carried away by a videogame. Because of that, it is said that the average age of riders is 51 years. Rather surprised! Same situation around world? Anyway, If you ride a motorcycle, you can do the average age of riders in Japan younger. I'm sure.

Well, Japanese bike licenses are divided into three kinds. Small up to 125cc, Medium up to 400cc, Large can ride all engine displacement. Although you can ride 50cc with a car license. But there are strict regulations for 50cc. You have to ride the left end of the road at limited speed 30km / h, besides at a big intersection, You have to turn right after dividing it twice.
125cc can ride same speed with cars under the law. But can not use an expressway.
To go touring in the distance, motorcycles of 126cc or more are nice. If you have such a motorcycle, you can easily meet a hidden hot spring in the province and delicious foods of special products from the region fully.
